A peaceful and prosperous South Asia can only be established on constitutional governance, the rule of law, freedom of expression, gender equality, religious coexistence, and tolerance for diversity. We advocate for the equal rights and dignity of all individuals, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, gender, language, caste, nationality, or political affiliation.
South Asian Discourses seeks to elevate marginalized voices, promote democratic engagement, confront discrimination and intolerance, and foster more inclusive, accountable, and rights-oriented societies in the region through interdisciplinary scholarship, public engagement, policy dialogue, and rigorous research.
Our goal is a South Asia characterized by the free exchange of ideas, accountable institutions, the celebration of diversity as a strength, and the safeguarding of human rights for current and future generations.
